At Ash & Oak, we believe great BBQ can’t be rushed. It takes time, patience, and respect for the fire. Every cut of meat we serve is smoked low and slow over oak and ember, allowing natural flavours to develop while honouring the traditions of old-school pitmasters.

Our Story

From backyard cookouts to a passion worth sharing

What started as weekend cookouts with friends quickly became something more. Long afternoons around the fire, experimenting with rubs, smoke, and sauces, sharing food and stories — it was never just about the BBQ. It was about the moments created around it.
Ash & Oak grew from that simple idea: create a place where everyone feels welcome, the food is cooked with care, and every meal feels like home. From impromptu firepit feasts to carefully crafted menus, our journey has always been fuelled by passion, flavour, and a love for cooking over live fire.

Low & Slow Philosophy

Time, patience, and respect for the craft

Great BBQ isn’t about shortcuts. It’s about time, temperature, and trust in the process.
We smoke our meats slowly, using oak for its depth and balance, and finish over open flame where it matters. The result is food that’s rich, tender, and full of character — never rushed, never overdone.
From brisket and ribs to sides and sauces, everything is prepared with the same attention to detail and respect for the craft.
